Experience required
? At least 2 years of experience in cabling roles.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Install and maintain data and telecommunications cables in commercial and residential buildings
- Troubleshoot and repair network connectivity issues
- Terminate and test data and telecommunications cables
- Install and configure security equipment such as CCTV, access control networks, switches, wireless doorbell intercoms
- Plan and design structured cabling systems for new installations or upgrades
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to determine cable and equipment requirements
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols
- Conduct site surveys to assess cable routing options and potential obstacles
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients, including troubleshooting issues
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in data and telecommunications cabling.
Salary $70,000 + Superannuation
