The CAD Engineer will play a pivotal role in supporting the design and development of various projects within the program, a futuristic city and innovation hub. The CAD Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed and accurate computer-aided design (CAD) drawings, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the realization of the programs ambitious vision.
Responsibilities:
- Create and develop detailed CAD drawings, layouts, and designs for infrastructure, buildings, and other projects in alignment with project requirements.
- Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to interpret design concepts and translate them into functional CAD designs.
- Participate in design reviews, providing insights and suggestions for design improvements and optimizations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset logistics processes, streamline operations, and optimize project outcomes.
- Apply engineering principles and standards to ensure that CAD designs meet technical specifications, codes, and regulations.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in CAD technology to enhance design efficiency and quality.
- Review, verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design guidelines before submission.
- Conduct regular quality checks to identify and rectify any errors or discrepancies in the CAD drawings.
- Maintain organized documentation of CAD drawings, revisions, and design changes.
- Prepare reports and presentations showcasing design progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, project managers, and contractors, to integrate CAD designs seamlessly into projects.
- Contribute to the enhancement of CAD workflows and processes, seeking opportunities for efficiency gains and innovative design techniques.
Educational Qualifications & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a CAD Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of engineering and architectural principles.
