Form of work Hillwood Farm Services is a family-owned berry farming enterprise that employs 55+ fulltime staff and has a seasonal labour force of 500+ workers.
Hillwood Farm Services also operates a Farmgate Cafe and a Pick Your Own berry patch.
Up to 5 positions of Cafe Allrounder are currently available at our amazing cafe in Hillwood.
Our Cafe Allrounders will be responsible for:
• Assisting all Front and Back of House operations
• Upholding a passion for service
• Communicates clearly and concisely with all supervisors, colleagues and guests.
• Maintain good relations with the kitchen
• Anticipate and accommodate the needs of your guests.
• Assists in maintaining the general cleanliness of the entire venue.
• Responsible for maintaining the ambience in the restaurant at all times (lighting, temperature, music, furniture, and overall presentation).
Applicants will be required to work in a team environment, to take direction, comply with work health and safety and demonstrate an attention to detail. Applicants will need to demonstrate good communication skills, particularly with a multilingual group of workers, and a strong work ethic.
Award: Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020, Level 2 food and beverage attendant grade 2, $24.08 per hour. The opportunity for upskilling and additional allowances based on skill level will also be available.
The positions are available on a full-time basis starting from March 2024 until June 2024.
The cafe has limited hours over the winter and then reopens around October 2024 until June 2025.
