Salary- Provide exceptional customer service to patrons and staff attending the Café
- Permanent Part Time position at Bunjil Place Narre Warren-based (22.5 hours minimum & up to 40 hours per week)
- Band 2 ($63,073 pro rata) + superannuation + free onsite car parking
A bit about the role
Working in the bustling café and kitchen at Bunjil Place, you will be part of a friendly team who prides themselves on delivering great café food with exceptional customer service.
What you’ll deliver
- Provide quality coffee and food to all patrons in a professional and friendly manner
- Assist with food preparation and service, including taking orders, processing payments, making coffee and cleaning
- Operate cash register and EFTPOS machine
- Assist with setting up for functions and events (when required)
What you’ll bring
- Friendly, and customer focused approach.
- Eye for detail and cleanliness.
- Proven barista experience in a professional café or similar environment.
- Availability to work on weekends (day and evening shifts)
- Current RSA certificate or willingness to obtain
- Food Safety Handler Level 1 certificate.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check, Functional Assessment (Medical/physio)
