The Moriac General Store is open 7 days a week and we are looking for a front of house / cafe All Rounders to come join our tight knit, locally owned family business on a casual basis on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Being only 15 -20 minutes from Torquay, Anglesea and Geelong, the Moriac General Store and Licensed Post Office is known for its great coffee, delicious food and friendly community minded staff. With the post office and bottle shop also on site, we are a busy shop that services our local community and passing trade. We want to build and grow our business and we need the right person to join us on this journey!

FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF / ALL ROUNDER - Hospitality Award Rates including weekend penalties rates apply.
Tasks and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serving Cafe and General Store Customers
- Using Till and Eftpos Machines
- Coffee-making skills desirable - full training provided.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate or desire to obtain.
- Adding value and generating sales through upselling and second selling.
- Following procedures and being responsible for the overall café / general store cleanliness.
- Prep and Pack takeaway orders. FOH items only.
- Opening and closing of general store.
- Cleaning and making sure that the General Store and Cafe is always presented well.
- Excellent customer service skills - being able to talk to customers is a must!
- Replenishing and rotating stock - Daily
- Money handling
- Creating an order list for the manager - Daily
- Permanent shifts for the right person
- Must be able to work days listed above.
