- Full time - Term Contract (temporary up to 12 Sep 2025)
- Be part of the leadership team delivering Evidence Based Eating Disorder Treatment.
- Deliver advanced Mental Health nursing care, select and implement therapies, manage individual cases, and evaluate patient progress.
- Use data for decision-making, quality improvement, incident monitoring, ensuring safety, outcome evaluation, and staff communication.
- Use expertise to monitor and improve research activities, enhancing nursing and midwifery practice and service delivery.
- Provide leadership, act as a role model, mentor, consultant, and resource person.
- Provide supervision within the team and to other CAMHS staff.
- Provide outreach at other CAMHS metropolitan sites and via Health Direct.
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate, enrolled in an approved Mental Health course or holds a qualification in Mental Health practice.
- Registered Nurse and or Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience
- Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and to prioritise workload and meet set timelines.
- Experience in the supervision of students, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses and /or midwives.
