This is a pivotal support position for a busy marketing team of 8. The role involves content creation, social media management, analytics and assisting in the development of marketing strategies to enhance online presence and engage target audiences.
Responsibilities include:
Social Media Management
- Creating, scheduling and publishing content across various social media platforms
- Monitoring social media channels for comments, messages and mentions and responding promptly
- Supporting the Digital Manager in analysing social media data to produce actionable insights
- Assisting in the planning and execution of Digital Marketing campaigns including social media ads, email marketing and SEO initiatives
- Tracking and reporting on campaign performance
- Supporting the marketing team with operational and campaign efficiencies
- Preparing and delivering marketing campaign plans to support the business with achieving lead generation
- Generating reports for Digital Marketing campaigns using data-based analytics tools and presenting data in an easy to understand format
- Monitoring website and social media analytics to assess effectiveness of campaigns
- Training ChatGPT with content
- Conducting research on industry trends, competitor activities and audience preferences to inform content and campaign strategies
- Generating regular reports on key performance metrics and providing insights to improve future strategies
- Researching competitor activity; what they are doing and how this intel can be used to advantage where it relates to new products/emails/marketing campaigns etc.
- A Marketing Diploma or Degree (essential)
- 1 year of applied marketing experience in the corporate sector (preferred)
- An understanding of SEO principles
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel
- Ability to analyse data at a basic level
- Strong internal client service skills
- Attention to detail and outstanding organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Passionate and willingness to learn
