Bechtel Energy is seeking a Camp Supervisor with proven capabilities to join Pluto Train 2 project in Karratha, WA. This is a 3:1 roster.

About the Project:

Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy. Woodside Energy is Australia's leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source.

About the Role:

As Camp Supervisor, you will support the Red Dog Village (RDV) Accommodation operations contract, and be Acting Manager during R&R cycles.

You will conduct regular quality inspections of all Village facilities and ensure any maintenance or quality issues are resolved promptly, and monitor and address warranty issues associated with the Village construction contractor.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Report any IR Issues to Camp Manager and Workforce Services Manager and support the Security Manager to manage and coordinate the Village Security.
  • Ensure ES&H standards are being met across all Village facilities and operations.
  • Support the Coordination of the Village Crisis Management issues.
  • Responsible for ensuring daily meals are served in accordance with the required standards.
  • Other duties as designated.

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years industry experience in hotel or hospitality management with demonstrated management experience and competent commercial and financial management skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications, chef qualified or trade qualifications in a related field with sound knowledge of large volume cooking requirements and practices.
  • Sound knowledge of HACCAP regulations.
  • Experienced in contract administration.
  • Confidence to undertake public speaking in front of management and a manual craft workforce.
  • Proven interpersonal skills, including managing relationships and understanding of conflict resolution.
  • Camp operations experience within an industrial environment is preferred.

Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required.

Additional Information:

This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.), and work in inclement weather. Some lifting may be required. Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.).
