About Beacon Minerals Limited:

Our tenements cover the MacPhersons project 5km south of Coolgardie, the Geko project 30km Northwest of Coolgardie and the Jaurdi project, including our 850,000tpa gold processing plant. Presently Beacon Minerals has a 4+ year mine life over these exciting projects, with exploration and acquisitions continuing to expand the company’s resource base. With a multitude of deposit types, and the exposure to production and exploration activities we can offer a unique opportunity to candidates in what will truly be a diverse and challenging role.

A unique opportunity to support the overall function of a small camp located 30km north of Coolgardie in the Goldfields of Western Australia. Ensure all tasks of managing and running the camp are achieved, which includes Housekeeping, Cooking, General Utilities & administrative function of camp management. In this leadership position you will provide support to ensure optimal quality and service to all camp guests.

THE POSITION

• Management of Village Operations (catering, cleaning and facilities management services)
• Maintaining consistent operational performance, driving quality, cost, people capability and performance
• Driving regular and sustainable improvement in our safety performance
• Fostering a high-performance culture through continuous improvement and innovation

THE PERSON

• Strong and decisive leadership skills with ability to build an effective and engaged team.
• Experience in Staff recruitment, retention, rostering, and subsequent management of the workforces.
• Food Safety Supervisor (desirable) must be willing to undertake if you do not already have the qualification.
• Current full Australian manual driver's licence (mandatory)
• Unrestricted Australian work rights
• Experience in Village Management desirable.
• Chef qualifications are also desirable, as is proven management experience in the hospitality field, ideally within a Catering and or Accommodation services environment.
