To be accountable for all aspects of the supply chain and support timely maintenance and delivery of plans and processes to support project goals.Key responsibilities
- Prepare reports and project procurement schedule.
- Prepare, update and communicate weekly procurement schedule.
- Coordinates with internal stake holders to update the plan in line with construction activities.
- Support the Procurement Manager to establish Procurement objectives that are consistent with Operations Department, Material Department and Program Management objectives, and measures/evaluates procurement performance.
- Ascertains that the correct scope of work is reflected on all schedules.
- Establish communication with site team to receive weekly status of procurement packages and progress data.
- Perform weekly updates of project procurement schedule, communicate changes in critical path, milestone dates.
- Prepare look ahead schedules to support procurement operations.
- Mapping across various systems used on the project such as SAP and Procurement Online Platform and Reporting, (KPIs).
- Develop resource loaded baseline schedules for assigned procurement schedule in primavera P6 system.
- Bachelor of Business or Accounting is preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in Procurement or Purchasing
- Strategic planning
- Ability to work within deadlines and targets and prioritise tasks.
