About the role:
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Car Detailer, who is reliable and a fast learner, to join our Operations team based at our site in Elizabeth South. This position is responsible for providing attention to detail with the highest level of accuracy, care, and quality service to our customers, and assist in all aspects of the logistics business. Your main duties will include:
- Maintain and clean auction vehicles & loading of the auction area
- Liaise with the sales/administration team and truck drivers as required
- Assist with the preparation of auctions i.e. lotting of vehicles, and auction pad set up
- Ensure that vehicles are processed in line with pre-defined customer standards and customer-specified timeframes
- Record and book in all assets using a hand-held company supplied IT System
- From time to time assist fellow team members in our passenger/light vehicle and salvage division
About you:
- Possess a current manual motor vehicle driver’s license
- Basic computer skills and the ability to operate a RF scanner
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Be willing to work outside
- Forklift license would be beneficial, but not essential
