Job Opportunity: General Manager
As our General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of both Caravan Parks. Working closely with our Maintenance Manager and reporting directly to the Owner, who brings significant residential management experience. You will oversee all aspects of office management, administration, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage office operations including leases, administration, compliance, rosters, and daily reconciliations.
- Coordinate tourist bookings and ensure a seamless guest experience
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to ensure the efficient running of operations outside the office
- Oversee a dedicated team including a leasing manager, office staff, assistant maintenance manager, cleaners, and grounds staff
- Uphold high standards of customer service, online reputation, and residential management
- Implement and maintain security and OH&S standards
- Drive local marketing initiatives to maximize occupancy and enhance the community experience
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in Caravan Park management and/or residential management and/or hospitality management (minimum 2 years)
- Proficiency with RMS booking software and other relevant computer applications
- Hands-on management style with a focus on problem resolution and continuous improvement
- Passion for delivering quality community living experiences
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Strong practical knowledge of HR processes and workplace health and safety regulations
Benefits:
- Full-time position (5 days per week, Monday to Friday)
- Competitive salary package: $78,000 per year + 11% Superannuation ($86,580 total package)
