About the role
An exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and experienced nursing team at RAH and TQEH cardiac interventional suites. And part of the Heart and Lung Program.
The new labs at the RAH are state of the art competed in 2017 and TQEH has new Cardiac Interventional suites on line in 2024 with the redevelopment well underway. Central Adelaide has an ambition to deliver world class care and research and be the top 5 in Australia and top 50 in the world within 5 years.

Employees classified at this level provide nursing services in a fast paced, dynamic cardiac intervention Suite at The Queen Elizabeth & Royal Adelaide Hospitals.  Employees working within these units are expected to have a base level of technical Suite experience through to a proficient level of professional practice. They consolidate knowledge and skills and develop in capability through continuous professional development and experience within the cardiac intervention unit. An employee at this level accepts accountability for his or her own standards of nursing care and for activities delegated to others.

Qualifications
Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

Essential Requirements

• Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
• Working with Children Check
• Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease:    Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
