About The Opportunity:
The Care and Support Worker Team Leader will have an opportunity to closely support our field team by being their first point of contact for all matters outside of scheduled shifts and, providing high levels of proactive engagement. This is a newly created role and has been designed based on employee feedback. No two days will be the same and responsibilities will include elements such as:
- Onboarding and induction support
- Implementation of engagement initiatives, such as recognition and development programs
- Coaching and annual performance appraisals
- Employee relations & Workcover matters alongside People & Culture team / Operations Manager
- Ensuring ongoing compliance
- Other projects and tasks as business needs evolve.
About You:
You are a supportive, organised individual with strong communication skills and a genuine desire to provide the best quality service to all stakeholders. You’re comfortable dealing with a range of priorities and possess the agility to flex as needed. You’re a natural problem-solver and can apply that skillset to identify tailored solutions for an individual’s circumstances.
Practically speaking, you have experience engaging a remote or casualised workforce and a demonstrated ability to support a diverse team. You are comfortable building relationships with a range of stakeholders and, your administration and technology skills are strong. A demonstrated knowledge of the aged Care and/or disability support sector will be highly regarded.
