About the Opportunity
La Vita Care are seeking experienced and capable Disability Support Workers to support one of our clients in the Croydon Hills area. You will work as part of a team that delivers person centred care to a female client with a spinal injury.
Shifts available daily include:
- 0630 – 1430
- 1330 – 2030
- 1830 – 2230 sleepover 0630 - 0830
Applicants should be prepared to support our client with activities of daily living such as showering, medication administration, continence assistance, domestic duties, and use of a hoist. Training will be provided.
This is an exciting opportunity as you provide our client with support that enables them to live a truly independent life in their own home.
Start as soon as possible and enjoy a competitive pay rate of, with penalty rates for evening, weekend, and overtime shifts.
Skills & Experience
- Cert IV in Disability or a relevant qualification and a minimum of 6mths experience in the sector
- Proven can-do, positive and willing attitude
- Demonstrated ability to communicate well with others
- Friendly disposition and engaging manner
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid Training
- Manual Handing training (or willing to obtain)
- COVID-19 Immunisation
- Ability to work autonomously
