As part of our small household model of care, you’ll be part of creating a new way of living for our residents. As a Care Companion, you’ll provide care to your residents in accordance with the Household Model of Care, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through activities that include:
- Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at meal times, general mobility and laundry
- Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
- Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
- Advocating for the residents while providing them with choice, fostering skills and encouraging engagement
What makes a difference for us?
- Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification
- Assisting clients with medication (HLTHS006)
- Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
- Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
