The role:
· Complete ownership of the end-to-end payroll processing on a fortnightly basis for dedicated nursing and support staff working within the NDIS Industry
· Accurately interpreting and applying Australian Awards & Taxation legislation
· Processing terminations, reviewing and entry of weekly timesheets, managing other payroll entitlements such as superannuation and reporting etc
· Completion of 3 monthly BAS and reconciliation of bank accounts
· Onboarding and offboarding payroll tasks
· Have a background and understanding of the NDIS industry is an advantage
· A multifaceted role with a background in Accounts and Payroll
· Payment and creation of weekly Invoices
· Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet strict timelines
Requirements:
· Proven, High Level of Experience with Zero accounting and Payroll systems
· Shift Care Experience is a definite advantage
· Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite Experience particularly excel spreadsheets
· Great Data Entry Skills including Timesheet entry
· Strong Work Ethic, show initiative and drive with the ability to work independently whilst being a team player
· Must have a valid driving license with a reliable vehicle and be willing to travel to the office a minimum of 2 days per week or as required when the business grows.
· Available to work flexible hours Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am – 5pm
· Excellent English speaking, reading & writing skills
Your Experience
· Solid experience within all facets of payroll. (NDIS & Shift Care knowledge an advantage)
· Must have advanced Xero and Xero payroll skills
· Willing to take on duties to further support the business and its management & HR staff
· The ability to overcome challenges and find solutions
· You are a collaborative, respectful, and communicative team player with a proactive approach in all interactions within the team
· You possess keen attention to detail and great time management skills
On Offer:
· Starting on 10 / 15 hours per week (mainly on a Mon / Tue) but hours will increase as the business grows
