AddressCare Service Employee
NVC Group are seeking enthusiastic, experienced staff to join our friendly team. These positions are located at Cedar Place in Kempsey NSW.
NVC currently has ten (10) full time positions available, commencing in June 2024. Employment conditions are as per the NVC Group Limited, NSWNMA and HSU NSW Enterprise Agreement 2023. The current hourly rate is $28.67 Per hour plus applicable shift penalties. Attractive salary packaging is available.
The Role
• Maintaining standards of care consistent with the philosophy of NVC
• Assisting residents with personal care needs, for example, bathing, dressing and eating
• Contributing to the development of care plans for residents
• Following plans such as interventions to assist those with dementia and behavioural problems
• Observing and reporting changes in resident’s conditions and keeping accurate and up to date documentation
• Dispensing of pre-packaged medications in line with medication competency
• Demonstrating a commitment to a multi-disciplinary team approach
Selection Criteria
Essential:
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work as a member of a team
• Awareness of person-centred care principles
• Effective interpersonal relationships and supportive attitude towards residents and their families
• National Police Check
• Understanding of Equal Employment Opportunities, Work Health & Safety and Infection Control Standards and Regulations
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development
• Be prepared to participate in a 7-day rotating roster
Desirable
• Awareness of quality improvement, Accreditation and AN-ACC
