The Care Service Employee is responsible for performing basic routine functions and duties within the residential aged care facility. The position is accountable and responsible in ensuring compliance with SCC policies and procedures, relevant standards, relevant legislation and accepted industry practices, including the Aged Care Quality Standards.

We are hiring to fill 8 vacancies at our Young Facility - 8 Openings
Hours of Work:
Morning – 0700 – 15.30.
Afternoon – 15.00 – 23.00
Night – 2300 – 0700.
To commence ASAP, with an employment length of 3 years.

Main Activities
Carry out simple personal care tasks which shall include but not be limited to:
- Assistance with daily living activities
- Assisting with showers or baths
- Shaving and cutting nails
- Lay out clothes and assist in dressing
- Make beds and tidy rooms
- Store clothes and clean wardrobes
- Assist with meals
Experience & Skills
- Ability to communicate clearly both written and verbal
- Ability to manage and prioritise work tasks in a timely manner
- Empathy for older and frail persons
