We are looking for support staff with flexibility across the following shift patterns.
- Mornings 7 am – 1pm / 7am – 3pm
- Afternoons 1pm – 9pm or 3pm – 11 pm
Are you passionate about making a difference in someone's life? MSWA is seeking Care Support Workers to join our state-of-the-art supported accommodation team. We offer permanent part-time and casual opportunities.
Our Accommodation:
Opening in 2021, our state of the art, high support accommodation facility features 10 fully accessible units to cater for our high support clients with 24-hour care provided on site.
Accommodates up to 10 residents with neurological conditions (MS, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, Motor Neurone, Acquired Brain Injury, and Stroke).
Provides age-appropriate care for younger individuals at risk of entering aged-care facilities.
Promotes privacy and social interaction in a communal setting, integrated with the local community.
Your Role:
Assist with personal care, including showering, dressing, and personal hygiene.
Provide domestic assistance, such as household chores and serving meals.
Offer medication assistance and social support as needed for community access.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in disability /similar discipline or working towards this qualification.
- Genuine passion for making a difference.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain, with assistance available).
- First Aid certificate less than 12 months old (we can assist if needed).
- Australian "C" Class Driver's Licence with no restrictions (nice to have).
- Experience in a similar Care Support Worker role
- Positive attitude (essential).
