We are currently seeking experienced Care Workers to provide daily support to our residents at Bethanie Geneff Aged Care Home located in Innaloo. Co-located with a retirement village, Bethanie Geneff is one of our smaller sites, with 38 beds across four houses located a short walk away from Stirling Station.
You will support our residents to improve their quality of life by assisting with day to day activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing is maintained while building positive and professional relationships with residents and team members.
Our Care Workers are an integral part of the care and support we provide to our residents. Applicants with at least twelve months experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
These roles are offered on an initially fixed term basis until July 2025, with the possibility of permanency thereafter, working a variety of part time rosters across mornings, afternoons and night shifts.
About You
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
- Previous experience working in an aged care or hospital environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well as a team and also independently
- Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group
- Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
- Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply for one)
The Role
- Assess care plans and ensure residents’ needs are met
- Ensure services (including food, laundry, personal care, domestic and interest) are delivered in a timely and safe manner
- Deliver personal care tasks (including toileting and showering) with dignity and respect
- Ensure residents’ rooms and the facility environment is maintained to an appropriate standard
