AddressCareer Opportunity – ‘Workshop Installation Guru’
Total Ability is a market leader in high-quality disability assistive driving controls. We operate our workshop from Artarmon, Sydney to install assistive driving controls in the NSW disability market.
We are looking for a equipment Installation Guru. Whilst we will help you get your head around the product (note: you will receive lots of mentoring on how to install assistive driving equipment), we need someone with strong auto electrical and fabrication skills to join our workshop team.
About the role.
The role of Workshop Installer has been created to install our assistive driving equipment into the vehicles of our customers.
Reporting directly to the company director, you will be mentored through your first 90-days to help understand the product and specifics of the installations. Over time, it is expected that your product knowledge will grow with the business and you will become our go-to-guru for all things to do with installs. We are prepared to back you all the way if you have the appetite to grow this role.
Key components of this role:
- Installation of products (for example hand controls, assistive braking systems, assistive steering systems).
- Servicing of products.
- Problem solving - fault finding of electrical systems.
- Work with relay boards and comprehensive understand of auto electrics.
- Competently read Auto-Data schematics.
- Metal fabrication (required).
- Mechatronics.
- Ongoing training to expand product installation knowledge.
- Assist with vehicle hand-over once jobs are completed.
