Operations /Customer Service Clerk

Solo Resource Recovery is a family owned and operated business, supplying waste removal and recycling services throughout Australia.  We are currently seeking an experienced Operations/ Customer Service Clerk to join our small team based at our office in Chinderah, just south of Tweed Heads, Northern NSW. 

Initially we envisage the role will be Part Time – 8.00am to 4.30pm, 3 days a week. However, the opportunity for additional days may also arise, as there will be requirement in covering short falls during period of staff leave or other circumstances which may arise outside of the usual three days.

The role is an important frontline part of a busy, fast paced and dynamic area of our business. 

Reporting to the Operation Supervisor, the role will involve interaction with our customers, booking collections, assisting with service issues and the completion of other operational tasks as required. These may include confirming the completion of drivers run sheets each day and creating next day run sheets. Internally you will be communicating with our driving team via two way radio and end of shift debriefs with drivers will also be a part of your day.

To be successful in this role you must possess:

• Strong administration skills;
• Excellent time management skills;
• Excellent customer service and communication skills;
• Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry;
• Ability to problem solve;
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
• Strong computer literacy skills

Geographical knowledge of the Tweed Shire and its surrounding areas would be an advantage. 

Experience in the waste industry would be desirable but not a necessity.
