Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others? Woodberry Village is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to fill three part-time carer vacancies within our esteemed aged care facility.Vacancy 1:

• Shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (1500-2100)
• Availability: Afternoon and evening shifts, providing essential care and support to our residents during crucial hours.

Vacancy 2:

• Shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (1500-2100)
• Availability: Afternoon and evening shifts, contributing to the wellbeing and comfort of our residents through attentive care and assistance.

Vacancy 3:

• Shifts: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday (11:00pm-07:00am)
• Availability: Overnight shifts, ensuring the safety and security of our residents while offering compassionate care and support throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing personalized care and assistance to residents with activities of daily living.
• Assisting with mobility, personal hygiene, and medication management as required.
• Building meaningful relationships with residents and their families, fostering a supportive and welcoming environment.
• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care is maintained at all times.

Requirements:

• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in aged care or a similar role is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate nature and genuine desire to improve the quality of life for elderly residents.
