Company Description

Cathay Pacific Airways is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Cargo Sales & Services Officer to join our Cargo team based in Brisbane. This is a full time permanent role working Monday to Friday.

You will form part of a small, busy and dynamic team who care deeply about providing superior customer service to our cargo agents.

Role Introduction

As a Cargo Sales & Services Officer, your main duty is to liaise with the cargo agents and the Cargo Terminal Operator (CTO) to ensure cargo is booked, delivered and loaded within strict regulations and guidelines.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop into the role. We are looking for someone with the ability to think fast on their feet, and enjoys variety in their work.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service when liaising with and responding to cargo agent quotes and bookings
• Coordinating and checking cargo service activities between sales, operations and ground handling are to required standards;
• Ensure permits and licences are obtained and relevant permission and advices have been obtained for special shipments, including live animals and dangerous goods
• Complete the necessary cargo administration
• Ensure compliance and conformance to all regulatory and internal safety, security, quality and procedural requirements.

Requirements

• Must have a valid and current Australian Drivers License;
• Customer service experience preferred;
• Proven planning and organisational skills with good attention to detail;
• Excellent MS Office application and digital skills;
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with a solutions based attitude;
• Able to work independently and within a wider regional team;
• Actively seeks continuous improvement and embraces systems improvements;
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to deal with rapid changes in the environment.
