Job description

Joinpro, a leading cabinet-making company, is seeking a diligent Carpenter - Quality Checker to join our team. The QA Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products, working closely with the Factory Manager to maintain high standards throughout the production process.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that Quality Checks are completed, defects are eliminated, and accurate records are maintained.
  • Ensure full-kitting of jobs being dispatched to the site and sent to the assembly benches.
  • Analyze production outputs and implement strategies to enhance results.
  • Assist with Resource Procurement by ordering consumables, tools, and equipment as required for seamless operations.
  • Provide Maintenance Support by assisting with operator maintenance tasks and managing tools and equipment.
  • Encourage and implement team suggestions for greater process efficiency through Continuous Improvement.
  • Undertake any other tasks as reasonably requested and contribute to the continual improvement of Environmental, Quality & OHS Systems

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a joiner or cabinet maker is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Experience in running a workshop or production team is required.
  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring team members is preferred.
  • Proficiency in time management and problem-solving is required.
  • Initiative and adaptability in approaching work tasks are necessary.
  • IT proficiency, including office technology, is required.
  • Knowledge of Environmental, Quality & OHS Management Systems is preferred.
  • A current driver's license is required.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving business needs is necessary.
