Carpenters, Demolition Workers / Asbestos Removalists For Fifo Work. 2:1 Roster

NeoWest Building Company are a well-established organisation, primarily servicing a major Pilbara iron ore producer across the Pilbara. We seek expressions of interest from residential building tradespersons for an ongoing (up to 2 years) housing refurbishment project in the Pilbara.  

Starting rates as follows:

• Carpenters - $57.50 /hour plus super 
• Demolition workers / asbestos removalists - $45.00 /hour plus super 

A further pay increase is typical for high performing trades.

The successful candidates will have: 

-Accommodation in Western Australia (no eastern states applicants please) 

- Manual Driver's license and white card statement of attainment

-No problem living in share house arrangements (i.e. 3 bed house with 3 occupants)

-Ability to attend inductions (including 1 day RTIO induction) and medicals and produce a clean D&A screen.

-All trades: Must have residential renovation experience 

• carpenters- must have extensive experience with residential timber wall, ceiling and roof framing or extensive residential 2nd fix experience.  
• Demolition workers / asbestos removalists - concrete cutting experience and asbestos removal ticket an advantage. 

General requirements:

- Provide own tools and recent model smartphone in working order.

- Min 5 Years Trade/ Construction Experience

- Experience in a mining & resources contracting environment is a bonus but not essential.

- Ability to wear provided PPE and follow site safety protocols.

- Ability to achieve the highest quality of finishes in a very efficient manner  

- Excellent communication skills

- Current Driver's license 

- Pride in their work, and ability maintain their workplace in a tidy fashion.
