About the Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated individual seeking to commence their career in construction as an Apprentice Carpenter. As an apprentice carpenter, you'll embark on a rewarding journey to develop the skills and knowledge essential for a successful career in the booming construction industry. Working closely with carpenters, other apprentices and on site tradespeople you'll receive hands-on training and mentorship to master various aspects of the trade.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE
- Assisting with the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures.
- Learning to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively, as well as machinery commonly used in carpentry.
- Understanding and interpreting site plans, designs, and project drawings.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and according to quality standards.
- Maintaining a clean work environment.
ABOUT YOU
- A strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and grow in the carpentry profession.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions closely.
- Basic knowledge or interest in carpentry tools and materials. (prior experience or vocational training is advantageous but not mandatory).
- Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

APPRENTICESHIP INFORMATION
During the duration of the apprenticeship is (48-months) you will be working full-time (38 hours per week), Monday to Friday with the option of overtime.
You and will attend training one day per week for three years, where you will learn theory and practical areas within the trade to gain a Certificate III in Carpentry and be a qualified tradesperson at the completion of your apprenticeship.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or New Zealand Citizen
- Not have any previous qualifications exceeding a Certificate III in Carpentry
