Australian Training Company has an excellent opportunity available to applicants that have a genuine interest in either commencing or completing their apprenticeship in Certificate III Carpentry and Certificate III in Glass and Glazing. A great opportunity to learn a trade from a qualified industry tradesperson.
Apprentices would be involved in learning various hand tools and equipment, Operating / working at heights, installing Glass components and external flashings & installing various window sheeting profiles. This apprenticeship will provide you with the opportunity to earn while you learn, working Monday to Friday.
We are looking for candidates who are committed and enthusiastic about commencing or recommencing an apprenticeship in Carpentry or Glass and Glazing who possess the following skills and attributes:
- Great attention to detail
- Good manual dexterity
- High level of motivation,
- The ability to follow instructions
- Eagerness to learn
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Possess good time management skills
- Car and Licence Required
- Must be an Australian Citizen or have Permanent Residency
The successful applicant must be available for immediate start. These positions are full time (38 hours per week). Recent school leavers are encouraged to apply, with relevant training provided. Successful applicants’ will be paid under the Building and Construction Award 2020.
Those with qualifications of Certificate III or above (including university graduates) need not apply.
