Program delivery will occur face to face, online and in the workplace.Teachers will be required to plan, develop and adapt teaching & learning materials and resources that contribute to and support the independent learning skills and innovate teaching practice through curriculum design, resource creation and policy development.At Future Skills, we are committed to providing students with amazing and engaging courses, embedding technology and AI into our students learning. If you are passionate about education and innovative, then you could be part of our industry leading team.View the position description .Your background and experienceYou will have an availability of at least 2 to 3 days (approximately 14 - 21hours) per week on a casual basis. As our number of courses grow, there is potential for contracted work and additional hours.Your relevant Allied Health and/or other Health qualifications that is paired with your substantial industry experience, will see you hit the ground running. Your other skills and experience will include:
- Proven ability in using digital technology to facilitate student learning and allow contribution to the development of learning materials
- Robust ability to adapt teaching practices to suit group and individual learning needs; including working with students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
- Excellent skills in developing and implementing teaching practices to promote:
- Explicit instruction (and differentiation)
- Feedback delivery
- Student motivation and engagement
- Thinking skill development (access to prior knowledge, linking, processing, synthesis and metacognition.)
- Inquiry led learning (example led and problem led learning)
- Knowledge and application of successful approaches to learning, teaching, curriculum design, delivery, assessment and evaluation practices in Vocational education or similar environment
- Passion and commitment to own professional learning and expanding own professional practice, maintaining currency of current and emerging educational sector trends and continuous learning
