ABOUT THE ROLE:

Mercy Hospital for Women is a leading public tertiary hospital located in Melbourne’s inner northeast. We are a workplace where your colleagues support you, and would love you to join our team.

  • Join Mercy Hospital for Women as a Casual Bank Midwife
  • Play an integral role in a motivated clinical team
  • Provide best practice, family centred care as a pivotal member of the multidisciplinary team
  • Shifts available in Birth Suites, Post-Natal / Antenatal wards, Fetal Monitoring, Outpatients, HDU and ED
  • Option for short or long shifts
  • Your choice of shifts, to work a minimum of 2 shifts per month

ABOUT YOU:

  • Registration as a Midwife with AHPRA
  • Have experience in Midwifery in a hospital setting
  • Demonstrate a dynamic, positive and flexible attitude
  • Enjoy working in a team environment
  • Be committed to ongoing professional development

Mercy Hospital for Women is a fully accredited Level 6 Public Specialist Teaching Hospital providing both public and private patient care through maternity services, neonatology and paediatrics, perioperative services, gynaecology, women's health and associated health, support and diagnostic services. We are a major teaching hospital and specialist referral centre with the medical, nursing, midwifery and allied health expertise to treat the most complex obstetric, neonatal and gynaecological cases.
