Casual Bar And Gaming Attendant

New Farm Bowls Club is seeking a reliable, dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Casual Bar and Gaming Assistant. This role involves a diverse range of responsibilities, including gaming-related tasks, bartending and customer interaction. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the club and enhancing the overall experience for our patrons.
 

As a Casual Bar and Gaming Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in creating a memorable experience for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

Gaming Operations:

• Must have previous experience conducting gaming clearances and end of month.
• Ensure compliance with gaming regulations and club policies.
• Operating gaming machines (9), ensuring they are functioning properly and offering assistance to customers as needed.

Customer Interaction:

• Work in the Bar and engage with patrons to provide excellent customer service.
• Engaging with customers in a friendly and courteous manner, providing exceptional service at all times.
• Preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to all safety and quality standards.
• Promote a friendly and inclusive environment for all club members and visitors.

Organizational Skills:

• Maintain a high level of organization to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Keep accurate records of gaming transactions, procedures and related paperwork.

Enthusiasm and Professionalism:

• Must be punctual, reliable and a team player. 
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for the role and the club's activities.
• Uphold a professional demeanor when interacting with both staff and patrons.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in gaming operations and understanding of gaming clearances and end of month procedures. 
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and a positive team player.

Working Conditions:

• This is a casual position with flexible hours (15 hours per week).
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as required.
