Casual Bartenders

Distillery Road Market is looking for motivated and energetic Bartenders to join our ever-growing team across a variety of our onsite venues.

Situated half-way between the Gold Coast and Brisbane, Distillery Road Market is the region’s newest food and entertainment hub, inspired by the world’s best markets, boasting events and live entertainment, our very own craft brewery and beer garden.

About the role: 

Bartenders are responsible for delivering exceptional customer service across our range of specialty bars.  These include our very own Perentie Brewing Co. bar and beer garden, with beer direct form our onsite brewery. Our Food & Entertainment district hosts a container bar, tequila bar and mezzanine bars with cocktail service plus pop up quick service bars around our venue.

This is a Casual role working 15 to 30 hours per/week, trading from Thursday to Sunday.  

Duties include working across multiple bars to:

• Provide exceptional customer service in line with RSA guidelines
• Ensure the high-quality delivery of beverages 
• Produce beverages in cooperation with all team members 
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers 
• Operate POS 
• Maintain cleanliness throughout our venues
• Set up and stock bars

Working as part of the Food and Beverage Department, new team members will be joining a team that works for collectively for the precinct across all venues. Additional duties may include assisting food venues with preparation and service as necessary. 

All training is provided.

Required skills, attributes and experience:

• A customer focused attitude with a willingness to learn  
• Experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous, not necessary
• RSA, or a willingness to obtain prior to commencement
• A friendly and dedicated team player with great communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be proactive
• Flexibility to adapt to changing environments and work across our multiple bar venues as needed
• I’m Alert in Food Safety Training Certificate, or willingness to obtain
