Dessous is a subterranean wine bar within Flinders Lane’s famous dining precinct, located in the basement of the historical Richard Allen building. The venue transports you to a time of decadence and debauchery with dark tones and old school charm.
Our focus is on delivering thoughtful hospitality experiences for our guests through caring and attentive service. Dessous is part of The Mulberry Group which includes Hazel, Lilac Wine Bar, Heide Kitchen, Liminal, Square One Rialto, and our not-for-profit social enterprise Common Ground Project which supports food security, regenerative farming, and employment pathways for people in the community.

Minimum two years' experience in a busy high standard bar/restaurant environment, with a strong knowledge of classic cocktails is required.
The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a high volume dispense bar while also providing incredible hospitality to guests dining at the bar, but is equally at home owning a section on the floor. Most importantly we are looking for candidates who genuinely love hospitality, and get a thrill from making someone's night special.
This is a casual position with 2-4 shifts available per week, with weekend availability a must.
