Job Type: Casual

Key Responsibilities:

1. Execute daily food preparation and cooking duties in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
2. Collaborate with the Head Chef and culinary team to ensure seamless kitchen operations across all locations.
3. Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in compliance with relevant health regulations.
4. Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, demonstrating expertise in various culinary techniques and presentation.
5. Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control to contribute to the success of the culinary program.
6. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
7. Adapt to the unique requirements of each location, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
8. Take responsibility for stock management, inventory control, and ordering supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
2. Culinary degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
3. Strong understanding of various cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and food safety principles.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication and organizational skills.
5. Flexibility to work across multiple locations and adapt to diverse kitchen environments.
6. Creative flair and a passion for delivering high-quality, innovative dishes.
7. Proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to excellence.

Requirements:

1. Valid Food Handlers Certificate.
2. Ability to work hard and have some fun.
3. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
4. Own transportation to travel between different locations.
