Key Responsibilities:
- Execute daily food preparation and cooking duties in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and culinary team to ensure seamless kitchen operations across all locations.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in compliance with relevant health regulations.
- Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, demonstrating expertise in various culinary techniques and presentation.
- Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control to contribute to the success of the culinary program.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Adapt to the unique requirements of each location, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
- Take responsibility for stock management, inventory control, and ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Culinary degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and food safety principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work across multiple locations and adapt to diverse kitchen environments.
- Creative flair and a passion for delivering high-quality, innovative dishes.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to excellence.
Requirements:
- Valid Food Handlers Certificate.
- Ability to work hard and have some fun.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Own transportation to travel between different locations.
