Your new role
The Diploma Qualified Educator is required to work collaboratively across Family and Children’s Services to provide high quality early childhood education and care, meeting the individual needs and interests of children and families. In addition, they will contribute and implement educational programs for children aged 0-6 years within the guidelines of the National Quality Framework. The key competencies for this role include: Customer Focus, Instils Trust, Collaborates, Demonstrates Self-Awareness, Action Oriented, Situational Adaptability, Ensures Accountability, Interpersonal Savvy.
Educators are employed across the Knox Integrated Kindergartens service and placements are reviewed annually in accordance with community demand across the municipality.
Our Integrated Kindergarten staff are employed under the Early Education Employees Agreement 2020 (‘EEEA 2020’) or its successor, which includes provision for term breaks in line with the Victorian School Term dates.
We are recruiting for casual Diploma Qualified Educators.
The successful applicant will possess appropriate qualifications, excellent communication skills, proven customer service skills, and a Working With Children Check.
This is a EEEA Diploma Level 2.1 to 2.3 classified role, remuneration will be $37.23 to $38.35 per hour plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.

- Demonstrated understanding of National Education & Care Services National Regulations, Education & Care Services National Law Act and National & Victorian Early Years Learning & Development Frameworks
- Commitment to providing high quality Education and Care programs

About the Integrated Kindergartens ServiceKnox Integrated Kindergartens has 24 kindergartens across the municipality where practitioners work in a collaborative way with a focus on providing high quality integrated early years services in the community, supporting families and nurturing the learning and development of children.
