Casual Disability Support Worker

Our mission is to enhance the lives of people with disabilities. We help provide opportunities for new experiences and community involvement in a safe and nurturing environment. The services we provide are:

• Impact Program: Assisting young people with disabilities make the necessary life transitions from school to adulthood.
• Camp Adventures: Giving people with disabilities the chance to try exciting new experiences outside of their everyday lives.
• Respite Care and Community Access: Giving caregivers the opportunity to take a break and helping with community services and activities.
• Getaways, Cruises, and International: Providing exciting new experiences and adventures.

What we require from you is patience, an eagerness to learn and help, and, of course, the ability to show empathy and resilience. You will be working flexible hours on a casual basis. Successful applicants will require:

• Certificate III/IV in Disability (preferred but not essential)
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, weekends, sleepovers, and school holidays
• Show initiative in completing duties without having to be asked.
• Work independently of supervision
• Have a current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card (or be willing to apply)
• Hold a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle with insurance coverage.
• Have your own vehicle and be a confident driver
• The ability to swim is essential, as we do a lot of water-based activities.

Previous experience and training are preferred but not essential. On-going employment is available for the right employee.
