The Role
Toll People are currently seeking casual on call experienced Dockhands for a client based in Eastern Creek. Dockhands will be required to manually move freight within the depot.
Pay Rates :
Morning Shift $41.78
Afternoon Shift: $47.71
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all duties within set time frames and follow instructions
- Unload or load vehicles and cages / stillages
- Scanning freight
- Freight sortation
- Re palletising of freight
- Identifying damages and reporting in accordance to site process
- Ensure compliance and safety is adhered to at all times
- Forklift licence is highly advantageous
- Have a high attention to detail
- Confident using a scanner
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and good numeracy skills and postcode knowledge
- Previous experience in a transport depot
- Hold a Bluecard or be willing to obtain
- Shift lengths 4 - 8 hours
- Morning and Afternoon shifts available
- On-site parking available
