Senior Bid Writer / Coordinator

THE OPPORTUNITY

Join our small, high impact team of bid professionals and consultants delivering tenders and bids for JC Civil Projects Pty Ltd (JCCP) clients within the civil, mining and construction industries. 

Reporting to the Bid Manager, you’ll dive into a wide range of projects and clients across mining, transport, infrastructure, utilities, aviation and renewable sectors to deliver compelling and compliant bids, proposals, submissions and presentations, from start to finish.

As a Senior Bid Writer/Coordinator for JCCP, you will work with a team of highly skilled bid professionals and consultants comprised of writers, coordinators, graphic designers and formatters, delivering tenders, bids, proposals, submissions and presentations for a diverse range of clients. 

You will prioritise developing sincere relationships with our clients so that you can develop a deep understanding of their challenges and opportunities with the objective to create value driven bids that connect strategy with technical solution and client drivers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce client centred bids, proposals, tenders, submissions and presentations that clearly articulate the value and benefits of complex technical solutions. 
• Develop and write compliant, concise and compelling content working closely with subject matter experts, technical leads, and business service representatives. 
• Review bid documentation, ensuring a full and complete understanding of the technical and commercial commitment to which the Company will be obligated.
• Assist with business development methodologies, including opportunity qualification, validation, database and win/loss debriefs.
• Provide support to internal and external marketing pursuits and initiatives through JC Civil Projects platforms (website, social media and others). 
• Develop and maintain a positive relationship with our clients.

ABOUT YOU

• Tertiary qualification or similar experience in procurement, project administration, communications, marketing, public relations or similar.
• Proven experience (5+ years) delivering tenders and proposals across the construction, civil and mining sectors, experience in similar management consulting, engineering consulting or advisory roles highly regarded. 
• Software: 
  • Advanced - Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Intermediate – Indesign
  • Well-developed database management skills with the ability to rapidly learn new software and programs
