Form of workFROEBEL St Leonardsis one of 5 early learning services run by the not-for-profit provider FROEBEL Australia. The centre provides inspiring learning environments on 3 levels plus a rooftop playground for 99 children from 6 months to 6 years. Our educational program focuses on immersive language learning (second language: German) and inquiry-based early learning by implementing the Little Scientists (https://littlescientists.org.au/) program. The ideal candidate will:
- hold an approved Certificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or to be studying towards one of those qualifications or your Bachelor
- be proactive and confident in the room and to be able to build meaningful connections with young children easily
- be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members
- have an interest in immersive language larning and inquiry-based learning
- have an understanding of contemporary child safe practices
- have a sunny personality with a positive mindset!
