About the Centre/Service Columbia Park Early Learning Centre is a community based, not-for-profit, long day education and care centre with integrated 3-year-old and 4-year-old kindergarten program. Located in Wheelers Hill; south east of Melbourne, we have a spacious outdoor learning environment and are surrounded by open parkland on Wurundjeri Country. We provide professional and innovative education and care to 60 children on a daily basis in a well-resourced centre. We aspire to provide an above standard educational program inclusive of STEAM, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cirriculum and Sustainabilty. Description We are seeking educators who are motivated, enthusiastic and innovative with passion and commitment to early childhood education and quality outcomes for children, families and the Centre. The successful educator must have effective communication skills which supports collaborative engagement with others and proven abilities to work as a team member is crucial for these positions. Knowledge of the National Quality Standards and Framework, Early Years Learning Framework for Australia, Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, Early Childhood Australia's Code of Ethics and the ability obtain the best outcomes for the children and their families is required.
Qualifications Mandatory Qualifications -
Certificate 111 in early childhood a, OR equivalent qualifications is essential for this position (this qualification must be NQF approved)
Understands the NQS, EYLF, VEYLDF, OH&S and National Law and Regulations
Demonstrated skills and passion in early childhood education
Certificates and Checks: Working with Children Check, First Aid Certificate and CPR, Asthma Management Certificate, Anaphylaxis Management Certificate are essential
Mandatory Reporting and other Obligations for the Early Childhood Sector
Food Safety Cetificate
All About Allergen Training
Covid 19 Vaccination (Up To Date Department of Education and Training Requirement)
