We are building our Casual Relief Pool to provide support to our Olympic Dam villages in South Australia. Enjoy the freedom to choose your swings, expanding your culinary skills, and adapting to unique challenges.
Our Olympic Dam Village dining room has been through recent upgrades, transforming 'mess halls' to modern 'cafés', providing nutritious, culturally, and dietary inclusive food.
The Position:
- You will prepare, cook, and serve meals across breakfast, lunch, and dinner for residents and guests
- Provide exceptional service when interacting with our staff, clients and diners
- Maintain food safety standards in line with company policies
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service during peak hours
The Person:
- Experience working in a high-volume, buffet-style kitchen
- A minimum of certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Trade Certificate
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of food safety standards and culinary techniques
- Ability to follow safe food handling procedures
- Ability to maintain professional standards in a high-pressure kitchen
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical with drug and alcohol screening
- Flexibility to work on a FIFO roster, demonstrating adaptability and resilience
