- Maintain a clean garden by clearing rubbish and litter from the garden and grounds.
- Maintain and grow the garden to ensure it meets specific requirements and expectations.
- Perform basic maintenance such as cutting the grass, emptying bins, managing weed control and leaf raking.
- Plant and nurture new trees, flowers, and various plants
- Wearing of PPE such as hats, glasses and long sleeves and wearing of sunscreen where necessary and insect repellent.
- Can be working outside whilst its drizzling with rain.. will definitely get dirty and be exposed to worms, slugs, spiders etc ..
- Lifting and digging holes and being able to bend down and tend to garden on knees also… is part of this role
Thisposition will start out working approx. 10 hours per week casually. All jobsare within private properties around Newcastle, Lake Mac area. You will beworking alongside of me helping shape and tidy gardens for our customers. Theshifts normally start early 7-7-30 and would be usually 4-5 hours per day…
More workwill become available for the right applicant.
Please noteI am not a lawn mowing business, I am a horticulturist who is doing moreinvolved gardening work. So a lot of care goes into my gardens and I needsomeone who can do that whilst still moving at a prompt pace.
No phones,headphones, smoking ,allowed whilst working.
Work boots,glasses and hats are required to be worn for safety and long sleeve shirt orarm protectors.
