This is a casual position working 12-15 hours per week (flexible).
The General Hand will be responsible for the following;
- Conduct regular checks of our properties and report any property issues to the Supervisor.
- Stock kitchen supplies as required, including community connect program requirements
- Garden maintenance and maintenance of garden tools
- Supervise voluntary gardening groups as necessary
- Ensure our company vehicles are re-fuelled
- Assisting with set up and pack down of Southcare events.
- Assisting with sourcing event supplies, food, drink, ice etc.
- Ensure all event equipment and items are maintained and restocked as required
- General support, shopping, conduct deliveries to customers, and in the community as required
- Assist with general administration tasks

About you
In order to succeed in this role you will require:
- A current National Police Clearance less than 3 months old (essential) which meets the requirements of the Aged Care Act
- Valid Manual Drivers Licence
- Ability to perform manual tasks effectively
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Flexibility to assist with various tasks as required
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Be reliable, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- This position involves physical exertion and outdoor work, physical required.
