Casual - Lawn, Garden & Reticulation Maintenance

Retic Man & Sandgroper Gardens is a well-established small business offering garden maintenance and reticulation services across Perth.

Our diverse clientele includes private residences, and large rural and hills properties.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable staff member for a casual or part-time position as an off-sider to work with an experienced Horticulturist. 

Experience in gardening duties is preferred, however, training will be provided for performing reticulation tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, weeding, removal of rubbish, pruning and planting to ensure the health and beauty of our clients' gardens.
• Assist in diagnosing and treating plant diseases, pests, and other issues.
• Trim and shape trees and shrubs.
• Operate and maintain gardening equipment and tools.
• Understand and meet client preferences and expectations for their gardens.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Assist with property maintenance tasks and irrigation system upkeep.
• Assist in the installation of irrigation systems.

To Apply:

• Previous experience as a gardener or in a similar role; horticultural certifications are advantageous.
• Commitment to working in a safe environment.
• The ability to operate small power tools such as mowers, brush cutters and hedge trimmers.
• Physical stamina for demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a dedication to delivering high-quality work.
• Reliable transportation to our premises; you will accompany the Team Leader in the company vehicle for the day.

Salary is negotiable based on experience and ability.
