Casual Paediatric Speech Pathologist

Be Vocal is a busy Speech Pathology practice working with paediatric clients across multiple locations south of Perth. We are currently looking for a vibrant team member to join us at our school site in Canning Vale.

We have a small team of Speech Pathologists at our school based clinic in Canning Vale where we provide therapy services to primary school aged children both privately and through NDIS funding. We work in partnership with their teachers, parents, OT's (Lil Peeps Occupational Therapy) and other therapists. It is a beautiful school with a very welcoming little community. 

We are looking for an energetic Speech Pathologist to join our friendly team 2 days a week. This role includes flexible working hours during school terms only. Ideal starting date would be 1st May 2024, however this can be negotiated.

Qualifications & experience

• Completed a degree in Speech Pathology and preferably some experience working with a paediatric caseload.
• Must be a member of Speech Pathology Australia
• Current Working With Children Check and National Police Clearance
• Eligible for a Medicare Provider Number
• Current drivers license is required

Tasks & responsibilities

• Providing evidence based assessment and therapy to a paediatric caseload
• Maintain administration duties of progress notes and reports
• Provide parent, teacher or EA education where required
• Maintain strong communication between parents, teachers and colleagues
