The Role
An exciting opportunity exists within our Infrastructure Services directorate for a Casual Labourer – Parks and Gardens. In this role, you will be responsible for providing labouring duties associated with construction, establishment and maintenance of Parks and Gardens Infrastructure in the Whitsunday Region.
Casual employment is works on an ‘as required basis’ and you will be advised when you are required to work.
Essential
- C Class “Manual” Drivers Licence
- Construction Safety Induction (White Card)
Desirable
- Certificate II and/or III in Horticulture
- Traffic Management Implementation
- Certificate II in Chainsaw Operations
- Commercial operator’s licence for the application of herbicides
- Certificate in Working at Heights
- Certificate in Elevated Work Platforms
- HR Licence
