About the Role

We are looking for people with a love of swimming and a passion for customer service to carry out the all-important role of a Pool Lifeguard at our Inner West Aquatic Centres.

Our mission is to provide the Inner West community with the best swimming experience possible and to do this we need the best Pool Lifeguards possible. We want Pool Lifeguards who are committed to creating a positive safe swimming experience, so if this sounds like you? Then we want to hear from you!

Applicants need to have a current Pool Lifeguard qualification including a current First Aid Certificate preferably experience as a Pool Lifeguard but the biggest thing is to have a love and passion for working in the Aquatic & Recreation industry.

This position will require a current NSW Working with Children (Background) Check Certificate.

Remuneration

$37.63 per hour (inclusive of loading) + 11.5% Superannuation + Weekend Penalty Rates

You must have qualifications:

  1. Hold a current RLSSA (NSW) Pool Lifeguard Certificate or equivalent.
  2. Hold a current Apply First Aid Certificate
  3. Must meet Child Protection Act requirements and hold a current Working with Children Check clearance (please supply your WWC check number with your application)

Note: Shortlisted applicants will need to provide a certified copy of the following documents:

· Proof of work rights in Australia (e.g. copy of Passport or Birth Certificate etc)

· Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate

· Current First Aid (including current CPR qualification)
