The harvest casual work we offer
Safely and efficiently moving millions of tonnes of grain into our Portland terminal during harvest requires a big effort and focus from our teams. Growers must be able to deliver to our sites and turn back around to the header as quickly as possible – and our harvest casual workforce is crucial to that process.
That's why we're recruiting casual workers for our Portland terminal, to help us deliver an outstanding service to growers and customers.
The casual work we offer includes general labouring, grain sampling, weighbridge operations and laboratory support, and we provide all the training you need (plus, you get paid for it!).
Important things to consider:
- You must be available to commence work with us from early December 2022
- You must have permission from a parent/guardian to apply, if you are younger than 18 years old (and you must be at least 15 years of age)
- You must be an Australian citizen or hold a valid work visa and provide proof of your right to work
- You must be capable and willing to work in an outdoor and shift work environment.
