Located in the city (walking distance from Town Hall or Museum station), an exciting opportunity presents for a talented Retail Assistant to join QCC Hospitality Supplies. Established in 1957 and proudly Australian owned, QCC is a leading wholesale distributor of non-food restaurant and hotel supplies. Our extensive product range comprises leading brands and expands across cutlery, crockery, glassware, barware, kitchenware, table service, equipment, disposables and janitorial supplies.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced sales environment, prioritize multiple tasks and create strong relationships with customers
- Replenish and maintain stock
- Maintain visual merchandising standards in store
- Liaise with Customer Service and Warehouse teams for sales / stock management
- General cleaning, opening, and closing duties as required
- Flexibility across retail trading hours including Saturdays
Skills & Experience:
- Prior experience in a retail/wholesale/customer service environment
- Strong communication skills and a passion for customer service
- Professional energetic manner
- Computer adept and good typing skills
- Possess a natural sense of urgency and enjoy working in a team environment
- High level of care and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
Desirable but not Essential:
- Prior experience or knowledge of catering or food industry
- Familiar with the Micronet system
